Six best places to study on campus

A big part of your student journey will involve studying. To help you get ahead of the game, check out these top spots on our campus where you can hit the books.

 

1. North Oshawa location library 

The library is great spot for those who like a quiet atmosphere to study. Worried about finding a spot? Don't! The library was just renovated over the summer to create even more studying spots!

Check out the Library basement if you want a low-key spot. 

 

2. UB Building

Don't just settle for the UB cafe! There tons of spots to study in UB. The first floor atrium has tables along the wall and there's comfy chairs near the washroom as well.

There's also spots in UB mezzanine. If you're looking for a quieter setting check out the third floor. There's a study area there as well. 

 

3. 61 Charles

If you don't mind a busier atmosphere, the vintage brick interior of 61 Charles is a great place to relax and do some readings or work on an assignment.

4. ERC

The first floor atrium has spots all around, perfect for a study group!

5. UA Fish Bowls

This is usually the go-to spot for students who pull all nighters. If you like a slightly louder setting to make you focused, this is the place to go.

6. SIRC

This newly built building has tons of space for you to study. Be sure to take a tour to find all the spots, including all floors. Plus it's less busy than all the other buildings.
