Did you know Ontario Tech has an orientation program designed just for students who are transferring from another post-secondary institution, or are continuing their academic career after a number of years? As part of the MyStart programming, Ontario Tech will provide you with the opportunity to learn about the campus, find out how to get the most from your university experience tailored to your specific needs, and also meet fellow mature, transfer and Pathways students (MTPS).

In addition to this customized orientation experience, Ontario Tech offers MTPS specialized services to assist with the transition back to academic life and support to maintain the unique set of responsibilities MTPS can often hold. Flexible class and program options

One of the most important factors when I started studying as a mature student was the ability to take my classes at my own pace because I had a full-time job. Many mature students have jobs and family responsibilities and can’t always fit within a traditional full-time in-class course model.

Ontario Tech has fantastic options including part-time study and online courses. The university also offers a unique college-to-university program which provides many opportunities to apply credits you earned at college toward a university degree. This is a stellar way to fast-track your Undergraduate degree, especially if you are studying part-time or have tighter time constraints.
