When is the seat deposit due?

The seat deposit is a crucial step in securing your spot in the program for the 2024 academic year. It serves as a confirmation of your plans to attend and guarantees your seat. This $500 deposit is due on Friday, June 7, so it's important not to delay in making this payment.

By paying the seat deposit, you are showing your commitment to pursuing your education and taking a step forward in your academic journey. This deposit is non-refundable and goes towards your overall tuition fees for the upcoming year.

How to pay the seat deposit

So now that we know when the seat deposit is due and what it is, how do we actually pay it? Before making your deposit, it is important to ensure that you have accepted your offer of admission through the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) or your Applicant Portal at least two to three working days prior. Payment is accepted online using MasterCard or Visa. You will need your Ontario Tech student number in order to make this payment.

When is tuition due?

Great job on paying your $500 seat deposit! Now that you've taken this important step, the next thing to focus on is paying your tuition for the fall semester. It's crucial to stay on top of your payments and ensure that your tuition is paid in full by Monday, September 18, 2023.

Paying your tuition on time is super important to secure your enrollment and continue your academic journey smoothly. Missing the payment deadline could result in penalties or even the risk of losing your spot in the program. So, let's make sure we handle this on time!

How to pay tuition

When it comes to paying your tuition, there are a few options available to you. If you're receiving financial aid through the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP), they may handle your tuition payments directly. In this case, you'll need to stay in touch with OSAP and ensure that all the necessary paperwork is completed on time.

To make your payment through your bank, you'll need to set up Ontario Tech as a payee and provide your student number as the account number. This process may vary depending on your financial institution, so it's important to reach out to your bank for specific instructions.
