For the third year in a row, the Ontario Tech University's ladies soccer team dominated the Campus Cup over Durham College.

At the seventh annual Campus Cup, which consists of two soccer games between Ontario Tech University's and Durham College's soccer teams during Frosh week, the Ontario Tech University Ridgebacks dominated the Durham Lords in a score of 5-0.

Five goals were earned by the Ridgebacks, with Shynice Williams scoring two goals, and Cassandra Sribny, Sara Voisin, and Tyra Gordon adding a goal each. Goal keepers for the Ridgebacks, Helen Frampton and Victoria Savage, share in the scoreless victory as they split the game.

The men's Ridgebacks team didn't do as well as the ladies, but the game was one full of team and school spirit. The Lords beat the Ridgebacks in a 2-0 victory, though the Ridgebacks put up a good fight to try and win the Campus Cup over the Lords.

As the game came down to the last couple of minutes, the Ridgebacks were awarded a penalty kick that only bounced off the post to allow the Lords their sixth consecutive win over the Ridgebacks.
